Conventions

We'll use the following conventions in this chapter.

This bold font indicates steps and experiments for you to try at the computer.

This icon indicates menu settings that you need to change in order to follow along with the examples. The menu selections you need to choose are shown in bold text following the icon. The menu title is shown on the left and is separated from the menu item(s) by a slash. If you need to choose more than one item from the same menu, the items will be separated by commas. Hierarchical menus (submenus) are indicated by a >. The text following the > is the submenu item that you'll choose.
