Lesson 2 - The 12 Jazz StylesLesson Two in the MiBAC JAZZ User Guide creates a song in each of the twelve MiBAC JAZZ styles. There are four main styles in MiBAC JAZZ: Jazz 44, Latin, Slow 4, Jazz 34. Each of the main styles has a slow, a medium, and a fast substyle. Combine the four main styles with the three substyles and you get the twelve jazz styles available in MiBAC JAZZ.
*1. The four chord ballad substyle uses two measures on the screen to represent one measure of the song. *2 The six eight swing style uses two measures on the screen to represent one measure of the song. The tempo 80 is referenced to a dotted quarter note.
